New MythWeather for 0.21
The weather plugin for MythTV - MythWeather - has been broken since MSNBC (the site MythWeather used to pull data from) changed their formats. After a few months of active development, the new MythWeather is ready to go live.
Screenshots after the jump!
The new MythWeather uses a modularized approach for collecting weather data. This allows for the creation of multiple plugins to retrieve data from a variety of sources depending on your location. Currently scripts have been created around weather sources that cover the United States (weather.gov, weather.com), Canada (weatheroffice.gc.ca), and the Globe (bbc.co.uk). Additional scripts can also be easily created that grab weather data from local or preferred stations.
The weather module can be accessed from within MythTV and from MythWeb. Below are some screenshots of both.
While the new plugin is available in svn development release, there are still some bugs being worked out. Check back for updates!
