The Human Interface
Apple is a company that makes phenomenal products. What makes them so great is that they just work and are so easy to use.
Think about the iPod and how its click wheel interface revolutionized the portable music player industry. They’ve also sold over 1 billion iPods to date.
With placing as much emphasis on human interaction with their device as they do with features they make their product efficient and almost memorable to use.
So, in an attempt to push forward and provide a more high end human interface, MonolithMC, Inc. has adopted the state of the art Logitech line of remotes and keyboards to their product line.
The first set of Logitech remotes and keyboards will be offered with the launch of our newest product (codenamed Daedalus) coming in early Q3. More on that to come…
UPDATE: If you want to request a specific remote or keyboard, please leave your recommendation in the comments section! Thanks, -a

Hauppauge HD PVR
Recording encrypted HD channels has been the topic of hot discussion for several years now. While the cable companies claim their proprietary CableCard is the solution, many are left in the dark because of licensing restrictions.
Thankfully, Hauppauge recently demoed their HD PVR device at CES 2008 which hopes to fill this gap.

Backup Solutions
A good backup solution is essential for any production system.
In the past there were some concerns regarding the backup solutions offered by MonolithMC on our systems. To address these, MonolithMC has created a bootable, customized Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon LiveDVD which allows a user to restore their system by only answering a few quick questions and no interaction from our staff.
iso images (1.8GB) will be available for download or shipped free of charge to all our customers.
Special thanks and congratulations to the MonolithMC Linux development team for another great development.
